so i haven’t been updating on here for about a year so it tell’s me but i am back on the vintage clothing train? but never mind i have lots and lots of photo’s i need to share and a facebook link. 

do tomorrow is my last clothes party fo the year (i’ve only done 3 this year) which is the only year i have been doing it so not too bad yet. i am excited for it i hope soo much it goes well, also next year in january i am going to cut down my hours at work because i desperatly need to get some things sorted soo much. especially when events and fairs occur and i cannot do them because of work (which i hate) hopefully i am going to get a lot of pictures tomorrow from this clothes party then update this and let people know how it’s gone :) x

‘bedroom’

my bedroom is slowly turning into my second little shop full of just my own stuff, i love it. im slightly obsessed with native amercian things and little trickety’ things. i love getting all sort of decrotive things and sticking them to my massive mirror.

i now have the next 6 days off work after today so hopefully i can get ALOT done, sunday after noon i am going into birmingham to vist this

im not perticularly going to buy things but i want to go and see what sort of prices people are putting things at to get a better grasp on what i should be selling things at which in fact i don’t think are very expensive.

me and my sister are also going to vist out older sisrer emma which as i mentioned yesterday is also a blogger, her’s is far better.

also in my room i have a lot of dinosaures. i don’t know what it is but ive become obsessed with them my family have embrased it and sometimes but me something dinosaur related, i have a watch which is clearly a child watch but ive worn it everyday since i got it but yes it’s got dinos on.

“pop up shop”

so basically im not sure if i have explained but i am going to now anyway,
when my sister moved out of our family home me and my mum decided we were going to use the spare and larger room to store all of the vintage and retro clothes we had been collecting because recently they were all stored in my tiny bedroom. they filled my own wardrobe and i had about 6 large (vintage) suitcases filled with things. so now we have a long rail in the spare room which took me about a day to fill with all the clothes i have, also we have a standing rail and now there doesnt seem to be enough room for all the clothes but it’s cosy and feels like a very comfortable vintage and retro shop. i’m going to be holding my first clothes party since having the spare bedroom done out and i don’t really know how it is going to work because it’s a little bit cramped with about 5 people in there, i think if i put a few rails downstairs should help. i have a few pictures of the shop but eventually i am going to get more and more especially when it’s the clothes party. if any local people are interested in coming to the clothes party then i will put up the link to have a look at it and see if it’s is close enough.

we also took a leaf out of my sisters and her boyfriends book by selling west german pots, some of them are soo beautiful, she also has a blog ill post that incase your intested, she has some really cool stuff.

mannequin

so i don’t really feel like ive been doing alot recently to try and make my tumblr work or updating big red’s facebook page much so ive taken some more photo’s of some clothes on the mannequin in my “pop up shop” i really need to get the girls round to do some photo’s. i have some time off soon so maybe i should do it then. but anyway these mayyy not be the best photos but i’ve tried, i think the problem is the camera i need to invest in a new one or just get one myself (i use my dads atm) but yes anyway here are a few more pictures.

this is jade, she is amaazing and beautiful. i put these outfits together for people to see how cool you can look using different ideas and putting things together that you wouldn’t think of, maybe. i have also created a facebook page for this so people can hop on over and like it. on the facebook it shows when i am going to be doing clothes parties.
